FINRA seeks increased disclosure from member firms

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority is seeking more frequent and detailed financial reports from member companies. FINRA proposed a rule that would allow it to make greater disclosure demands. The regulator said it is seeking the ability to get "additional financial or operational schedules or reports as FINRA may deem necessary."
