MySpace gets Facebook-style redesign

In a bid to regain momentum, MySpace is rolling out a new look incorporating a Facebook-style news stream and a simpler, less-cluttered page design. The move is part of a push to boost the site's appeal with younger users. "MySpace and Facebook really aren't even competing in the same category anymore. Which is good. For MySpace to be successful they need to carve out their own place," notes one analyst.
