Xbox grabs the lead in video game market

A slim new format and advanced wireless options propelled Microsoft's Xbox 360 ahead of PlayStation 3 and the Wii, as Microsoft sold 443,500 gaming devices in July, according to the NPD Group. That's more than double last year's July figures for the Xbox and well ahead of Nintendo's 253,900 Wii sales and the 214,500 PS3 units sold by Sony.
