Recruitment comes earlier as law schools seek jobs for future grads

More than 100 law schools will hold recruiting weeks this month, compared with seven held that early in the year in 2000, says Harvard Law School Assistant Dean Mark Weber. By moving up their recruiting, law schools are hoping to gain an advantage in helping graduates land jobs at big firms, said Keith Wetmore of Morrison & Foerster.
