PhRMA survey says: Cancer, heart disease, senior care are top consumer concerns


In a survey commissioned by the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, 86% of respondents said they wanted to see cures for more forms of cancer as a top national health priority, with 78% calling for more effective heart disease treatments and 76% seeking more intensive medical care for seniors. A new focus on consumerism in health care makes these data significant.
