SEC's scrutiny of flash orders spreads to options exchanges

Some said flash-trading orders are more common on options exchanges than stock exchanges as the Securities and Exchange Commission expands its scrutiny of the practice. The Boston Options Exchange acknowledged that the SEC recently requested additional information about the strategy. The SEC's increased scrutiny is another move toward enhanced regulation of high-frequency trading.
