Broadband will be Time Warner Cable's "anchor service," CEO says

Providing broadband access will eventually be Time Warner Cable's "anchor service," CEO Glenn Britt said after news of the company's $3 billion takeover of Insight Communications. While cable TV remains Time Warner Cable's primary business, high-speed Internet is providing the most growth for the operator, Britt said. More deals could be in the company's future as the business looks to scale, he added.
