To find a big idea, go to where the action is

Innovation hasn't yet been completely leveled out by the forces of globalization, writes Bill Fischer, so finding the right ideas and idea people for your business often involves knowing where to look. You're more likely to find top Web innovators in Silicon Valley or Beijing's Zhongguancun district, Fischer writes, and other fields have similar distinctions. "Good idea hunters know this and they, like any 'big-game' hunter, go where the action is in order to enjoy the best chance [of] 'hitting their targets,'" he writes.
