Spending at least three hours a week doing strenuous exercises was linked to a 24% lower risk of having endometrial cancer in the next 12 years among overweight and obese women, according to a study in the British Journal of Cancer. However, researchers found no evidence that vigorous activity had the same effect on normal-weight women. The findings were based an analysis of data from the California Teachers Study.
