Lithium-ion batteries remain top choice of most experts

A number of CE experts have come forward to reaffirm the safety of lithium-ion batteries, despite recent product malfunctions. "From an engineering level this is not such a big deal because it's a very, very small percent of the batteries," said Martin Garner, director of wireless intelligence at the consultancy Ovum in London.
