AT&T to launch first LTE products Sunday

AT&T will begin selling Long-Term Evolution gear Sunday, although the LTE-based network will not be up and running until late summer, initially in Chicago, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. The first products will include a data stick and a mobile hot spot that will be available for $50 for 5 gigabytes of data -- the same that users pay for the same quantity of HSPA+ access. Verizon Wireless' LTE network covers one-third of the U.S. population.
