GAO tells CMS to make quality reports more reliable

CMS should be more methodical in its approach to physician quality reporting so reports are more reliable, according to a Government Accountability Office report. The GAO said CMS should identify why some physicians do not read the reports and conduct a survey gauging their usefulness and reliability.
