IMG Worldwide is on the block, with $2 billion price tag

Forstmann Little & Co. is seeking a buyer for its IMG Worldwide marketing and talent agency and has begun sending out financial information to prospective purchasers, with the hopes of receiving initial bids by the middle of September. The agency could bring in more than $2 billion, and the top companies considering a bid include rival Creative Artists Agency, the Carlyle Group, CVC Capital Partners and William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, according to this report.
