Report: Health IT helps improve quality, care delivery

A report by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality examines its "Improving Quality Through Clinician Use of Health IT" initiative, finding positive effects on evidence-based preventive and chronic care delivery, chronic disease control, provider satisfaction and more. The program is one of five AHRQ initiatives that address health IT's effects on quality and patient safety in ambulatory care.
