Beer, in wine form

Craft brewers are straying from pure hops and barley and introducing winelike components to their beers, from flavoring the brews with pinot noir grapes to aging the beers in wine barrels. The beers also are packaged and priced like wine. "Winey beers" are so new that "there's really not a terminology" for them, an industry spokesman said.
