Canadian educator to raise funds for Haitian school

A retired secondary-school teacher in Canada is working to provide electricity to a school in Haiti. The school will relocate from a wooden house to a new school building in September, but there is not enough natural light on the lower floors for students to see. Bernie Crawshaw, who operates a nonprofit that supports schools, is asking the public to help him raise £6,125 for the project.
