England's teachers increasingly worried about social media

Russell Hobby, the general secretary of England's National Association of Head Teachers, responded to findings that teachers increasingly are becoming victims of cyberbullying by saying that social media websites, such as Facebook, are a threat to the country's schools. "Increasingly, social media are being used to fuel campaigns against schools and teachers," he said. "Twenty per cent of our members have received threats or abuse online -- parents or ex-pupils being the most common source. The results can be devastating."
