Scripps says investigative stories are a service to viewers

Scripps Television has made investigative reporting a priority at its nine news outlets over the past 18 months, hiring new staffers and adding training for its veteran reporters. "For me, it's about serving your community and providing them with journalism and stories they need to know about," said Bob Sullivan, vice president of content for Scripps Television.
