Ohio district distributes iPads as part of computing initiative

Students at Lancaster High School in Ohio will use iPads this school year as part of the Fairfield County School District's four-year, $1 million one-to-one computing initiative that provides them with technology devices to enhance learning at home and in the classroom, and teach them skills they will need to know in careers and college. "The learning experiences that will take place ... are unlike anything else," high-school English teacher Matt Gillispie said.
