Pay equity is a challenge in the U.K. tech workforce

It might take 63 years for gender-pay parity to arrive in the U.K. technology workforce, says the Chartered Management Institute. This despite the fact salaries for women increased 2.1% in the last year, while compensation for male IT professionals rose 1.4%. The main issue is the average male salary is already so much higher than female compensation, according to the firm.
