Buffalo Wild Wings app hikes in-store traffic with AR

A Buffalo Wild Wings mobile applications uses in-store augmented reality to promote traffic from fantasy football fans. While in the restaurants, fans will kick virtual footballs through uprights that appear on tables through the Big Kick Challenge app. To promote the game, which runs from Sept. 2 to Nov. 24, the chain will hold a "draft" day on Saturday. Fans can practice with the app in advance of the competition, which adds more opportunities for engagement.
