Google app gives mobile developers analytics flexibility

Google Analytics has released the Tag Manager for Mobile Apps that it previewed at the Google I/O conference in May. The application works in conjunction with the Analytics Services software development kit to allow mobile developers to change analytics routines on the fly, even after installs, Frederic Lardinois writes. In addition, Google is delaying the release of its Google Glass wearable device until 2014. Analysts speculate Google wants to get it right technically and/or deal with the marketing issues, which include preemptive government attacks on the technology based on security concerns.
