Report describes ways for Big Pharma to leverage sales resources

Drug and medical-device makers should rethink their management of similar products to drive sales-force effectiveness, enhance customer targeting and reduce average sales-force size and training needs, according to a recent Best Practices report. Companies should align territories and sales forces, coordinate sampling and combine marketing resources for multiple products with similar indications, the report said.
