Are your recognition efforts seen as insulting?

While your company may have a recognition program, it can backfire if the accolades to an employee are poorly delivered -- such as via e-mail -- and so small as to actually be insulting to the person, Derek Irvine writes. Poorly conceived and implemented programs can come across "as miserly and demeaning" to workers, he writes.
