5 states to participate in inclusion initiative

Four Vermont school districts are working with The University of Kansas to identify inclusion best practices as part of the Schoolwide Integrated Framework for Transformation Center, or SWIFT. Four other states also are participating in the initiative, funded by the U.S Department of Education. University researchers will study schools' programs and work with schools to improve inclusion practices.
