Analysis: China's economy is evolving, not faltering

A slowdown in Chinese economic growth shouldn't be cause for worry in the rest of the world because it is a sign that the government is creating a more sustainable path, according to The Economist. "For many economists, this structural slowdown is inevitable and welcome," the magazine says. "It marks an evolution in China's growth model, as it narrows the technological gap with leading economies and shifts more of its resources into services."
