DuPont to expand plants for production of film for solar products

DuPont announced Thursday it will spend more than $120 million to expand plants in Kentucky and North Carolina to make chemical photovoltaic films for solar products. CEO Ellen Kullman has said the company intends to triple sales of photovoltaic-module components to more than $1 billion by 2012.
