Obama may eye training for unemployed, tax breaks as part of jobs package

President Barack Obama reportedly is considering a program for his jobs initiative similar to the Georgia Works program, in which unemployed people continue to get jobless benefits while they train for new skills at participating employers. Employers don't pay the trainees, but they have the option of offering them a job when the training is complete. Other ideas reportedly being considered include tax breaks for employers and a payroll-tax holiday.
