AT&T, CenturyLink warm up to CAF funds

AT&T says it will accept up to $100 million in Connect America Fund money from the Federal Communications Commission to bring broadband services to underserved areas, while CenturyLink says it will accept $54 million of the $90 million in CAF funds that it has been offered. Verizon Communications has declined once more to participate in the CAF program.
