Ideas on using digital tools for daily student assessments

Teachers can leverage digital tools -- from a 140-character Twitter post to 16-second videos launched on the site MixBit.com -- to help them gather daily assessment data on whether their lessons are "hitting the mark" with their students, educator and ed-tech expert Matt Levinson writes in this blog post. "The key 21st century skill in all of these approaches is synthesis, the ability to cut to the essence of an idea or concept and communicate in an effective, succinct, compelling manner," he writes.
