Report: Mobile ad spend to nearly double this year

Mobile ad spending is projected to nearly double this year and will help drive a 14.9% rise in overall digital ad spend, according to eMarketer. The digital figure is less than the 15% growth recorded for 2012, and the rate of growth is expected to taper off in coming years. By 2017, eMarketer predicts that digital will make up 31% of the total media ad spend.
