Wal-Mart, Toys R Us get a head start on the holidays

Wal-Mart is already gearing up for the holiday season and will bring back its layaway program next month, waiving a $5 upfront fee but bringing back the $10 cancellation fee it dropped last year, the retailer said Wednesday. In its own pre-holiday announcement this week, Toys R Us said it would expand its price-matching program to include online retailers including Amazon, Walmart.com and Target.com.
