CFP revamps certification exam, adds ethics topic

The Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards has changed its certification test, saying that the new exam will focus more on practices and ethics of financial planning. Starting in 2012, the exam will include 285 questions from 78 topic areas -- down from 89 -- and also consist of two new areas: communication and ethics.
