EPA releases proposed air-emissions rules for gas drilling

The Environmental Protection Agency is publishing today its proposed emissions rules for natural gas exploration and hydraulic fracturing. There will be a 60-day comment period wherein oil and natural gas drillers and other stakeholders can assess the proposed regulation, which targets volatile organic compounds and other emissions from fracking operations.
