Majority of New Zealand schools distribute poor school reports

New Zealand's Ministry of Education has found that just one-third of school reports sent home at the end of the last school year had all of the required information and were easy for parents to understand. Schools are required to inform parents whether students are meeting National Standards in maths, reading and writing -- and communicate that information in an understandable way.
