Study finds link between sugary treats, endometrial cancer

Regular consumption of sugar-rich foods such as cakes and cookies may elevate the risk of developing endometrial cancer, a British study in Cancer Epidemiology found. Experts said the risk of developing the disease was 33% higher in those who ate such items two to three times a week and 42% higher in those who consumed the treats more than three times a week, compared with people who rarely had the treats.
