Texas school to receive $2 million to buy additional autogas buses

The Northside (Texas) Independent School District will receive a $2 million federal stimulus grant from the Department of Energy and Texas' State Energy Conservation Office to buy additional propane autogas-powered school buses and to upgrade the school district's four autogas refueling stations. The school district currently has 383 autogas-fueled buses. Texas Railroad Commissioner David Porter will present the check to school district Superintendent John Folks on Wednesday.
