Box retargets SMBs, offering new subscription pricing

Box has announced a subscription plan for small and midsized businesses, priced at $5 per user each month for teams of up to 10 people. The offering is an effort to keep SMBs from considering Box's competitors, Juan Carlos Perez writes. The Starter plan fits between the company's free Personal plan and the Business plan, which costs $15 per user each month. "We weren't competitive in the part of the market now covered by the Starter plan," Box's Aaron Levie said. "We were pricing ourselves out of it."
