CDC: 601 sickened, 40 hospitalized in cyclospora outbreak

A CDC report released Wednesday revealed 601 cases of cyclospora infection across 22 states, including at least 40 hospitalizations due to severe infection. Texas has been hit hardest by the outbreak with 250 cases, followed by Iowa with 155 and Nebraska with 86. No deaths have been reported.
