Enterprise NoSQL systems begin to attract wide interest

Advanced NoSQL systems capable of real-time analytics and database consolidation are the goal of several major companies, such as Oracle, MarkLogic and FoundationDB, all of whom made presentations at the NoSQL Now 2013 conference in San Jose, Calif. "Really, ad hoc query at scale is the Holy Grail of where NoSQL is going," said David Rubin of Oracle. David Rosenthal, co-founder of FoundationDB, said many companies seek to consolidate NoSQL and traditional databases.
