Google may team with Continental, IBM for self-driving car

German car parts supplier Continental could be forging a deal with Google and IBM to develop a self-driving car. Sources tell a German newspaper that an agreement could be unveiled at the Frankfurt Car Show in September. Continental is expected to provide the steering systems while Google would design the navigation and IBM would develop the high-speed data service to deliver real-time information, according to sources.
