Mich. school takes an individualized approach to learning

Students at A.L. Holmes Elementary-Middle School in Detroit each follow an individualized learning path that blends online and traditional teaching methods. Principal Leenet Campbell-Williams says the district has been very intentional in its implementation of the model, noting that each student's skill set and personalized learning path is determined using a test that identifies the student's strengths and weaknesses.
