A comprehensive bill on immigration reform has drawn opposing perspectives from lawmakers, according to these reports. Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said the Senate's immigration bill is "chock-full of loopholes," and he hopes the House of Representatives replaces it with a better version. Meanwhile, Rep. Luis Gutierrez, D-Ill., is urging the House to bring immigration reform to a floor vote before the end of the year, arguing that a majority of lawmakers already supports "comprehensive immigration reform with a path to citizenship and a broad pathway to legalization."
