Prosthetic-finger company testing materials for smartphone-friendly digit

After developing a functional prosthetic finger from bicycle parts, finger amputee Colin Macduff founded RCM Enterprise, which now mass produces the Bio-Mechanical Prosthetic Finger. Next steps: making a finger that is touch-sensitive for computer tablets and smartphones, and developing a prosthetic thumb. The company hopes to have the touch-screen finger available within the next year.
