Oregon hospital revamps food service, adopts DASH diet

The new Oregon State Hospital will usher in an era of fresh food and better nutrition for patients who will eat in satellite cafeterias and choose their own menus. The hospital also has adopted the DASH, or Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension, diet to reduce sodium, promote fresh foods and encourage a heart-healthy approach to living.
