ACC: Government should work on chemical security within existing programs

Following President Barack Obama's executive order on chemical security, federal agencies should work to improve current programs rather than creating new mandates, the American Chemistry Council says. "This really should be a focus on how can we work together to improve the way these programs are currently working," ACC spokesman Scott Jensen said. "Tacking on any additional tasks or initiatives will sort of be counter to what you're trying to accomplish."
