Mobile development platform Appcelerator has purchased Singly, giving the company a leg up in application programming interface integration. Singly's "all-star team has been brewing up a remarkably powerful and simple way for developers to use APIs with fewer technologies required and no adjustments needed for API changes," Jolie O'Dell writes. Calling APIs "the lifeblood of mobility," Appcelerator CEO Jeff Haynie hopes Singly technology will help developers "build transformative native apps that run on any device."
