Corn growers visit Pa. ethanol plant

Pennsylvania Grain Processing invited a group of local farmers to visit its ethanol plant in Clearfield County, Pa. The facility, which buys corn from local farmers and indirectly supports 100 jobs in addition to its 77 in-plant workers, is good for the local economy, plant officials said. The farmers said the visit was also a chance for them to share concerns about federal and state legislation affecting the farm industry.
