How Girls Inc. helps connect girls to STEM careers

Students who participate in the Girls Inc. Eureka! program in Memphis, Tenn., learn about career possibilities in science, technology, engineering and math through direct access to industry mentors and tours of facilities and college campuses, said program coordinator Rondalyn Martin. "If they can see it, that's one thing, but when you can see it and you can actually be engaged in it, it takes on another level of excitement," Martin said.
