Ohio district eliminates prepackaged meals

An Ohio school district is revamping its menu for the new school year, eliminating prepackaged meals in favor of healthy dishes prepared and baked onsite. School nutrition professionals hope new equipment -- and recipes -- improve meal service and draw students back to the cafeteria. Other additions in the district include a slushie machine and the return of a grab-and-go meal station, where students can get salads, sandwiches and beverages.
